The President of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH), Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Professor Dr. Ali Abd Saadoun, and the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Professor Dr. Mortada Al-Jubouri, received a delegation from the Iranian University of Medical Sciences to sign a memorandum of understanding between the two sides.
Along with the interchange of professors and students in the areas of teaching and supervision, the memorandum covered a number of scientific and academic subjects pertaining to postgraduate studies, crowd medicine, academic education, and scientific research.
It is noteworthy that the most recent medical university rankings place the Iran University of Medical Sciences in the top 500 medical universities worldwide.

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research stated that Iraq ranked first in the Arab world and seventh globally in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2024, an accomplishment that speaks to the calibre of university education in the country. The number of Iraqi universities that competed in the 2024 edition of the ranking—which included 2,152 academic institutions from 125 different countries—was the basis for this accolade.
According to the Ministry, this accomplishment demonstrates the dedication of Iraqi universities to their diverse academic programmes and their focus on accomplishing sustainable development objectives, overcoming obstacles, adapting to changes, raising awareness, and offering scientific solutions. The obtained results showed that, in keeping with the UN's sustainable development goals, Iraqi higher education and scientific research institutions are still working to raise the standard of student performance and offer a supportive learning environment that satisfies the need for both technical and scientific knowledge. 

The President of the University, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, the Assistant for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Nowfal Al-Araji, and the Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Waqed Al-Moussawi, received the deans of colleges, department heads, and faculty members, who came to congratulate them on Eid Al-Adha. The president then gave his sincere congrats and best wishes to everyone in attendance, pleading with Allah to provide benevolence, prosperity, and blessings to the Islamic world and the people of Iraq on this auspicious day.

"Al-Warith Third Engineering Exhibition for Graduation Projects and Scientific Outcomes" was organised by the Deanship of the College of Engineering at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) and was attended by the President of the University, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, the Assistant for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Nowfal Al-Araji, the Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Waqid Al-Mousawi, and several college deans. The exhibition seeks to showcase the skills of the students and their aptitude for creating applied science projects that mimic the demands of the job market.
Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein Hadi Al-Awadi, the dean of the College of Engineering, said that the exhibition encourages students and graduates to compete with one another and supports the investment of potential energies. He emphasised that the projects had already been assessed by special scientific committees that had commended them for their excellence and that, with enough care, attention, and development, they might even become patents. 

Under the direction of the deans of the faculties of medicine and nursing, the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) organised a training workshop for students from the two colleges in collaboration with the Medical Operations Centre in the Iraqi Ministry of Health and the Mass Medicine Centre.
The workshop aimed to develop work skills in emergency centres and crowd medicine, treating accidents during the visits of millions [such as Al-Arbaeen], in addition to managing mass casualties and taking patients’ vital signs. 

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH), Professor Dr. Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayawi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein Hadi Hussein, the College of Engineering is organising its third engineering exhibition entitled “Al-Warith Engineering Exhibition for Graduation Projects and Scientific Productions” on Sunday, June 9, 2024. 

Dr. Sabah Al-Jubouri, a lecturer at the College of Medicine at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH), issued a new book entitled “The Role of Judiciary in Achieving Transitional Justice.” In the book, which was released by the Academic Publishing Centre in Egypt, Al-Jubouri examines how the court helps transitional justice processes in societies that are going through change. 

The Presidency of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) congratulates the professors and students of the Accounting Department in the College of Administration and Economics for achieving “First Place” at the level of public and private universities in the Holy City of Karbala in the “Joint Exam.” This accomplishment is a testament to the department's quality control, outstanding instruction, and efforts to get students ready for academic competition. 

The Council of the College of Medicine at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) held its regular session under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Ali Abd Saadoun, Dean of the College.
During the meeting, a number of significant topics were covered, and the College Deanship reaffirmed its commitment to offering students complete support, investigating their concerns, and working towards effective solutions.

Congratulations on the marriage of the Two Illuminating Lights, Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali, to the Lady of all Ladies of the Worlds, Fatima Al-Zahra (PBUT). 

The Department of Medical Physics at the College of Science organised a charity bazaar within the university's corridors, with the participation of Dr. Haider Al-Ghanmi, Head of the Information Technology Department, and Dean of the College of Science, Dr. Shaima Hussein Nowfal.
Students from a variety of disciplines participated in the bazaar, showcasing their skills in handicrafts, illustration, and décor. 

A group from the Deanship of the College of Islamic Sciences at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, comprising Dr. Nour Al-Saadi, Dr. Ali Ahmed Nasser, and Assistant Professor Dr. Talal Faiq Al-Kamali, the College's Dean, paid a visit to the "House of Wisdom" headquarters in Baghdad. A member of the House of Wisdom's Board of Trustees, Professor Dr. Abdel-Baqi Al-Khazraji, received them. 
The House of Wisdom is one of the organisations supporting the "Fifth International Islam Life Conference," which is being planned, and this visit is a part of it. Enhancing academic and scientific collaboration between the two sides was another goal of the visit. 

The College of Engineering at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa witnessed final discussions for the graduation projects of students from the Departments of Civil Engineering and Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology Engineering.

Professor Dr. Muhammad Hussein Al Yassin, the President of the Iraqi Scientific Academy, welcomed a delegation from the Deanship of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa, which was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Talal Faiq Al Kamali, the Dean of the College.
Since the Iraqi Scientific Academy is one of the organisations supporting the conference, this visit is part of the planning for the "Fifth International Islam Life Conference." The visit also aimed to explore the possibilities of developing collaborative research and academic programmes, as well as to improve academic and scientific interaction between the complex and the college.
It should be noted that the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa is preparing to hold its fifth international conference entitled “Human Rights and Contemporary Challenges,” scheduled to be held on August 31, 2024.

Professor Dr. Waqed Al-Moussawi, Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Al-Sharifi, Dean of the College of Law, and Dr. Jaafar Al-Husseini, Representative of the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, received a delegation from the United Nations in preparation for their participation in the “Fifth International Islam is Life Conference,” entitled “Human Rights and Contemporary Challenges,"  which is held by the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH), under the auspices of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein (PBUH).
The purpose of the delegation's visit was to observe the conference hall and explore the university's hallways to gain knowledge about its academic and scientific offerings.
It is noteworthy that the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) is preparing to hold its fifth international conference on August 31, 2024.

The "Reyadah Government Training" initiative classes are coming back for a second season, which will begin at 9 am on June 8 and run through June 13 at the Warith Centre for Development and Entrepreneurship.

Deans of colleges as well as members of the university president's assistants for administrative and scientific issues attended the regular meeting of the Council of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa, which was presided over by Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi. Several significant decisions that would benefit the university and its beloved students were discussed.
The relevance of these projects in enhancing the structure of academic and research achievement at the university was underlined as they were discussed, together with the university's recent growth and a number of new infrastructural projects.
The session included discussion of other issues related to the conduct of the educational and administrative processes at the university, with the aim of improving performance and providing the best services to students and employees.

Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, President of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH), received the Head of the Centre for Strategic Studies at the University of Defence for Military Studies, Major General Abbas Lafta Odeh, and the delegation accompanying him.
The purpose of this visit is to explore methods in which the two universities might collaborate scientifically and academically, particularly with regard to the deanships of the College of Islamic Sciences and the College of Administration and Economics. A delegation of academics and students from the Iranian Shahid Beheshti University was greeted by Dr. Muhammad Jamal Al-Tayef, dean of the media faculty at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH).
"This visit comes within the framework of implementing the scientific agreement that our university previously concluded with the Iranian University," Dr. Al-Tayef added in his statement.
He continued by saying that the Iranian delegation had a tour of the university's hallways and received an update on the academic and scientific realities and advancements the school has been witnessing.
This visit is a part of ongoing initiatives to improve experience sharing and academic collaboration between the two universities.
